Join us for our 1st Annual Friends Gathering. We invite you, our friends, donors, members, volunteers, partners, and sponsors to come celebrate our past, present and future. This is our way of saying THANK YOU.
Attendees will also get to try out our new Community Art Lab, take a tour of the campus, hear from special guest speakers, and learn about our vision for the future from our new Executive & Artistic Director, Matthew Glassman.
Delicious food and drink provided by Maine Street Design Company. The festivities will culminate with a benefit performance by the amazing YellowHouse Blues Band at 7:30PM.
The YellowHouse Blues Band is a nine-person blues band with a funky horn section and they’re known for putting their own take on popular songs and producing benefit concerts to raise money for non-profits like The Chocolate Church Arts Center.

About Us
A sense of community has been central to the Chocolate Church since it opened its doors in 1977 and community involvement is what keeps the doors open today. All are welcome and everyone will be entertained.
Architectural History
Constructed in 1847 as the Central Church, CCAC has been described by Maine’s preeminent historian, Earl G. Shettleworth, Jr. as “a 19th century monument in the midst of one of Maine’s most well-preserved cities.”
